My faith doesn't so much waver: I know that God loves me; that He is good; that my soul is secure with Him; that I will spend eternity with Him; that He has a perfect plan; and that He will work even the hardest of things to my good. One would think that--with thirty-year-old faith--trust would come easily. But trust, to me, is giving over this minute, this hour, this day to the Lord in light of my faith. And that's where I struggle: in the opening my hands and letting go. I want the moment to go my way. I don't want to live into the answers.
